NEW MEMBER Introduction Thread (NO TECH QUESTIONS)
Hello everyone, Myname is Brian. I am 31 years old and active duty Army. I am currently rebuilding my Grandfathers 1968 ford f100. This truck has been passed down over the years and never left my family. My Father had it last. The engine went bad and she has been sitting for about 12 years. I am just starting the rebuild. Starting with a new rear end and 351 windsor engine. I joined to get any information and ideas I may need in the future! I will upload some pictures later tonight.
Hey everyone, first time posting, been looking at these and other similar forums for a while and finally decided to join this one since it seemed the one I most often was directed to!
I bought myself a 93 f-150 with the I-6 in pretty decent shape a couple months ago and have been working on it since. Hoping to get it running great with the help from you guys!

Just joined and looking forward to having a great information resource. 2015 F350 6.7 standard cab w/ 4500 on it so far and love everything except the small fuel tank. Will be doing a lot of thread searches before asking too many questions about fuel tanks and lift kits which I will assume is a horse that has been beaten.
Hey everyone i just signed up! Im from australia and just got myself a 1979 f100 xlt 4x4 truck my plans are to lift her 6 inches and 38 inch tyres and to just make her a tidy truck. I live in Lincoln, NE and just purchased a "well used" 2000 F250 crew cab with the V10. The truck has 217K on it but the motor starts and runs like a sewing machine. As I'm driving it I'm finding things that need attention of course, like the partial front end rebuild (upper ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm bushing) that was done yesterday.
The only concern now is the torque converter clutch solenoid code I'm getting. Hopefully a new solenoid fixes that up and it doesn't turn into a tranny replacement! Anyway, if someone could point me to a thread that addresses torque converter clutch solenoid issues that would be super!

Hey, New to the forum. I originally searched this website in order to find anyone in the US that had installed a Whipple Supercharger on a F-350 Super Duty truck with a 5.4 gas engine. No one had done it. So I will be the first. Virginia Speed in Va. Beach, Va. Has taken on the task and is in the final tuning stages of this endeavor. There were things that had to be fabricated by them to make the kit which was for a F-150 work. Upgrading injectors, new oxygen sensors, replaced one clogged catalytic converter, and conversations on the phone to a company that builds programs so they could Dyno tune the truck. I have to say Whipple was of no help to these guys and I would never do business with them again. Once they sold the product that's where the service ended. Jerks. They told me yesterday everything looks great and they are going to be doing the final Dyno up to 5,000 RPM's in the next couple of days. They say the power this supercharger is going to produce will smoke the 37:50s I'm running. I will definitely keep everyone posted when I get it back. Hopefully I will be able to answer any questions anyone has. Oh by the way my truck is a 2006. Thanks
I hear you there. Well I work at Certified Transmission. I can look some stuff up for you no problem. Sadly though we dont sell parts. Just whole units
