New Member - 2006 F-350 Super Duty 6.0L Lariat Crew Cab Long Bed 4x4 Dually
Hello all... New member here checking in.
My name is Mark and I am the owner of a 2006 F-350 Super Duty 6.0L Lariat Crew Cab Long Bed 4x4 Dually that I had "bullet proofed" about a year ago after blowing my head gaskets and having all the common 6.0 Liter issues. I purchased the truck new in 2006 and do love it...especially after the bullet proof, exhaust and adding the tuner.
Here's basically what we have done to it thus far:
Blue Spring Upgrade | HPOP STC Fitting Kit | MPD 6.0L Heady Duty Up-Pipe | Machine Heads with O-Ringing | 18mm 6.0L Head Gasket | ARP 250-4202 6.0L ARP Studs | 6.0/6.4L Oil Pressure Switch | 6.0L Injector O-Ring Set | 6.0L Turbocharging Mounting Set | Sinister Diesel Coolant Filtration Kit | Stand Tubes | Dummy Tubes | STC Livewire TS Programmer & Monitor with Innovative Diesel's Xtreme Street, Street and Tow Tunes | FICM with PHP Atlas 40 Tune | JMS EGT Kit | MBRP 4" Exhaust
I hope to learn quite a bit from you all and provide input where and when I can.
Thanks for having me.

A lurker no more
Just got first ford of my own. Picked up a 1985 f150 4x4 explorer edition with for $800 bucks. The body is in pretty amazing condition, a little surface rust on the hood, and a couple minor dents. I am still amazed at the lack of any real rust on this truck. The interior is even in great shape considering the age and the estimated 300,000 miles on it. And it has a small lift on it from the PO, not sure how much, maybe 3 inches or so. That's the good. The bad was the extra hole in the side of the front driver side cylinder wall lol. The PO had bored the block 60 over, and run a performance cam on a very mature block. Well that gave me the opportunity to get the truck cheap so I don't mind. Went to about six scrap u pull lots and finally found what I wanted. Pulled a complete motor from a 1996 ford explorer with gt40 heads and a roller cam for about 200 bucks, slapped it in mated to my borg warnervous T-18 and was screaming down the road in no time (actually not no time, was my first engine swap and took me about two weeks to tear it down replace all the seals and get rid of all the efi junk so my edelbrock 4 barrel setup would work). Sorry for the rambling intro, I do love to talk about my big blue baby lol. Feel free to ask anything about it, I will have pictures up ASAP.

I'm about to order a tuxedo black F-250 XLT Crew Cab, 4x2, w/ 6.7L PSD. My dad was a mechanic and subscribed to DieselPower magazine, which, as a kid, read cover-to-cover. I gave my '05 Golf TDI to my daughter. She's sold on diesels and wants to get a Jetta TDI Sportwagon when she can afford one. I own a black '97 Mustang Cobra, a black '94 F-150 Lightning. Looking forward to ordering the black F-250 XLT.

my gal is a newly rustored '94 f250 IDI 4x4. This fall I did her over, the steering box is the only thing I didn't take off the frame. Mostly from 4 junk piles 2 250's & 2 350's. She's still a little buggy but I'm confident that she'll be a severe duty work truck. This site is great and has offered some invaluable tips. I did some heavy work on a '78 f250 about 20 years ago but nothing like this. I'll try to get some pic's out soon.
