I'm a new member of the forum and a long time Ford advocate... I just recently (about a month ago) purchased a 1976 F250 Highboy and I am pretty excited about it. It's quite the project and is actually the first real vehicle project for me. So there's a good chance you'll run into me asking some questions
I have a few pictures of it in my gallery if you'd like to check it out. I am hoping to eventually get caught up to my current progress on it and keep my profile updated or something throughout the process. But we shall see.
Anyways, Hello everyone and thank you for the help I will and have already received from this forum!

Hello
Let's see...what do you want to know...Ok, I have been a Jeep guy for 36 years, working on the Assy line and put myself through college, Became a production supervisor 17yrs and have been doing IT for the past 15 yrs...
Ok, I collect and restore garden tractors (Case) mostly, but have a few Speedex, some fords, and a wheel horse or 2. I have a couple bmw's I drive in good weather, and a chevy truck I drive to haul my hobby tractors around...
Whew...ok, long story short, Chevy breaks, and I commence to fixin like I always do...except this time was a doozie, I had to rebuild the tranny, and I had a major electrical failure which I ended up pinning out the ECM 3x, changed all the electrical components, rebuilt the throttle body...etc...still no go...winter is coming, can't work outside I live in the burbs, chevy ain't fixin...so, I found a FORD winter beater, and to be honest I like it.
1993 F150 sly ext cab short box 302-5speed manual, 167k truck was definitely pounded on...paid 900 for it ! Runs terrific... Flaws due for immediate fixin, exhaust loud as hell, tires bald as the day is long, driver door was replaced and the power window don't work right, key cylinder wasn't changed so I cannot lock the truck,...then less impt a few rust spots in the body...no biggie, I'll fix those in the spring...
So, till I get the chevy fixed, I'll be fixin the ford...and it's been a week and I am thinking I'll keep it ...
Regards

Hello everyone,
I just signed up on the site. I am looking forward to learning about the ins and outs of restoring a 2004 F250. In particular with regards to rebuilding
the engine. Although I am older man, this would be my first rebuild. This
endeavor will hopefully get me through my retirement years. Once this one
is under my belt I will feel somewhat confident on tackling my 1959 T-bird and
54 Hudson. I am in Vermont, winter came earlier up here this year. I am looking forward to be an active contributor and I knew I will learn a great
day
Happy Holidays

Hello From Vermont
Hello Everyone,
I have just joined this site in order to gain some information on a 5.4L engine rebuild on my 2004 F250. Although I am nearing retirement age, this will be my first attempt at an engine rebuild. Over the years I have picked up some vehicles to play around with in my later years and this will be a very good one to start with. I am located in Vermont where the winter has come early this year. I hope that I can become a good contributor and I know that I will gain
a great deal of knowledge from you all.
Happy Holidays
