Greetings

Hello all. I have a 1993 E-150 conversion. Me and my wife travel around the country pulling a 30 ft. Airstream. We live in the Airstream full time and I need to get the van ready for mountain travel. Been coming here for about a year on occasion.

Hi everybody! I joined up as I recently picked up a 2005 F-250, SCLB with the 6.0 diesel. I've already gleaned enough info about the code the truck threw the first time I pulled my buddies toyhauler to look into wrenching on the truck myself (this is the first diesel I've owned, but I've driven plenty before).

Gary - I might be wrong, but I didn't think a 302/351 truck could be converted to a 460 without a lot of grief. I don't think it is a bolt-in deal. You might want to do a search or start a thread on the subject, since tech questions are a no-no in this thread.

Am glad to be a new member of fte. This is my third ford diesel and am having problems so I wanted to learn if others have been experiencing anything similar.

I'm new here so thought I'd post up. My DD is a V8 Explorer but the reason for joining is that I'm planning an F350 build.

The plan is to have a truck for pulling duty during next summers county fair season. An F350 with traction bars, a new HD clutch, driveshaft loops and a redneck rebuilt 460 (hone, rings, bearings, reconditioned heads, cam, intake, carb)......Should be plenty of fun as is but...
Eventually building a 545 to swap into it

Hello all

I've been reading posts/threads on this site for about a year now. I would have been here sooner but I'm active duty Military and was stationed out of the country for the previous 3 years with my Ford in storage. I own a 2004 ford Expedition with aprox. 132,000 miles. My family and I have put 100,000 of those miles on it since we got it in 05. I have gained a wealth of knowledge and insight from the forums on this site so I finaly signed up in order to pass along what I know (and of course to keep recieving all the outstanding "knowledge bombs" from other members).

Thanks to everyone for all the great posts, I'm glad to be here!

Hello everybody. i would like to thank IBTim for the welcome. I joined the forum after looking for a fix for a problem with my old Ford. One being a clutch problem, and a fix I may have found for mine and wanted to share, which I posted in the misc. /transmission/axial forum.
