Great Job & you just proved you've still got what it takes.

Cheque out my "Gallery" as I swapped a 300 I6 & C-4 into my '58 Mercury M-100 several years ago & painted it the same colours that were Original for the 223 I6 & Mer-O-Matic that came w/ the "Wee Beastie".

That A/C can originally used on the Passenger Cars & not the Pick-Ups, if you wish to get rid of it, I'd be intersted.

Ah yes Col,

I have looked at your gallery many times in preparation of doing my conversion... thank you for the great pics. You indeed have a very nice
setup.

I have no idea what the air cleaner would be worth, if you have an idea let me know.

Hey Chuck!

That is defiantly an odd looking air cleaner, I have never seen it's like. Is it shown the way it would be mounted on the carb? Or is it just hanging like that for the picture?

The thermostat housing on mine was pretty well rotted out and I had no luck getting one from the Napa here in this area. LMC does not have one listed for a 223 their list starts with the I6 240 which I have no idea if the two are the same or not, so I still need one of those.

I still have lots of sheet metal work to do on the cab and I ordered the new drivelines so aside from a few misc. parts the running gear is done.

Hey Col...

Do you have an extra oil-bath air cleaner or know where I could get one for my 59 223 I6 F100 4X4?

Cyrus,
That "odd" looking air cleaner was used on the six cylinder cars. It hung off the side of the engine just like its shown in the pics. I'm not sure what all years it was used on but I've seen it on some 59's
