billet grills

Who has the cheapest billit grills? I'm wanting to take my black one off and replace it. I'd like to find one that has the chrome surround with it also. And do they make them with metal surrounds or are they all plastic?

yeah, if I weren't actively trying to eliminate my chrome...I would be all over 2 of those puppies. 1 for the grille, and 1 to custom cut for the lower section

but, I like my black and white theme.

Buy two, cut one in half, send me the half you cut off then paint what you have left for your truck.

I'm not sure what that thing you pictured is Dixie...but I honestly think the Roush Grille is the best on the market. You remove your OEM grille completely and the Roush one replaces it. You can then put the OEM Ford logo back, or leave it off.

the Socal grille you put up looks like a cheap insert that covers the OEM grille...and those never really do look the best IMO

it'll snow out here before I do that...but if I end up changing my mind, I'll send ya 1/2 of 1

there are 2 types of insert.

1 type goes between the grill bars...and the bars are still visable

the other snaps over the grille and your OEM grille is hidden behind it

if you want a metal billet grill, get the Carriage Works brand. I've had mine for 4 years now and it's holding up great. I got the replacement style (instead of bolt-over) where I removed my FX4 grill and put in the billet grill. I paid $200 for the main grill and lower bumper insert too.

If you want a chrome surround, you'll have to buy that separately.

in my opinion, black and chrome do not go together. People typically either go for the chrome look, or the blacked out look, not both.

A chrome surround and chrome/polished grill would look great on your truck but you should also try to change out that black bumper cover to a white one/or just paint it.

My wife bought me one from LMC Truck. Looks good - decent quality. I'm sure not the same quality as Carriage Works, but I've gotten numerous compliments on it and no issues so far. It's been on for a year
