Question Freezing weather...popping noise.

So recently, the weather has dropped to bone-chilling temperatures since winter is now here. This morning it was -10*C.

Anyways, after my drive to work, I opened my door to put my boots on and within 15 seconds of opening the door I hear this loud POP.
It was loud enough that I could actually feel it.

When I got back from work, (-2*C now) I opened the door and it did the same thing.

My question is, What is popping? And is it hurting anything?

Since I've only heard it twice, I assume it's coming from inside the cab.
And I might be mistaken, but I'm going to take a guess at somewhere near the dashboard.

Listen to the very last seconds of this video clip. YouTube - 06 F150 Magnaflow Exhaust

Is it something like that?

I have only heard this twice, and it was a couple days after i got my new exhaust put on. It happend just like what you described, 15 seconds within opening the door. And honestly i did not even hear this popping noise until i looked at the video clips i had made (or i did and did not realize it). I havent heard it again yet though, but not knowing what it was is still bugging me.

It's the headlight relay.
Or, it is coincidentally timed when my headlights shut off.

I heard the sound while getting the mail, and I noticed that it was when the headlights shut off. So I hit the unlock button and let the lights run through it's cycle...and sure enough, the popping noise happened when the headlights shut off.

Sadly though, I can't make it do it again now that I'm in the driveway and looking for it.
Atleast I figured out what's causing it.
