Hi, Dennis here. I am rebuilding a 52/48 F1 right about now and having fun. I live in Elizabeth,CO and moved here from Seattle in 1992. Love it here. My truck will be a Darksider. Question? Does anyone know when some swap meets are going to be in the area? I need some parts for the old gal and want to go to one just to look-e-lou and see what is out there.Thanks.

I will chime in here, I am Dennis and live in Elizabeth. Benn here 19 years and love it. Am working on a 48/52 F1 and been doing pretty well.

I have a question to all you close to Denver, does anyone know of a business that I can take my body to so they can dip it? I have 5 coats of paint and primer on the whole truck and it took me more than 4 hours to sand one fender. Any info will help
Thanks.

Hypoid is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE. Hypoid is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
It might be a good idea to start a new thread with this question.

I bet they guess correctly within 1 day.... A fellow CDR member took that photo hahaha, and i am sure a few other ones know about it..

Not alot of people have a white racing jacket up here...

Post it up and see how long it takes

I wish i still had photos of that old apartment, the living room, dining room, and kitchen looked like a parts store and a garage.. The land lord came by one day and i thought he was going to be pissed, but all he said was "do me a favor, and if you bring any engines up here, put some plywood and tarps down first"

A few days later we had 3 engines in the apartment.

I'm a newbie to the site. have owned Ford trucks pretty much my whole life. I am 45. currently own an 08 f250 powerstroke. this weekend i picked up a 58 f100 in denver and hauled it to Rifle where I live. need to do some research to find out what motors and tranny will fit in this truck. the truck is very solid but did not have a motor or tranny. what can one expect for $300 ?

nut4elk, I have a Y-Block 292 in my 58 which was a standard motor in those years. There are numerous "darkside" options to be looked at. It depends on waht you want to spend and how hard you want to work on it. I have some pics on my gallery of the work I am doing on mine. Feel free to PM me if you have additional questions. Yhis is a good forum so go to the 48-60 groupo and also the engines group.

Hi all,

I have lived here for a year and a half now, but just bought a 67 F100 4wd, with a 4spd and hope to get to know everyone and meet up to talk and work on trucks together.
My uncle was a Jeep guy forever and took me wheelin' since I was little, he passed away in 2000. I was always a Muscle Car guy with my old Hot Rodded 67 Mustang which I sold years ago; however I am back in FORD power mode and hope to network soon.

hey guys, Billy here, I live in Colo Spgs. Here's my fleet of Ford trucks. Lately my Mustangs have
distracted me from my trucks but something tells me that's going to change soon.

Not to Bandi, we made it to PMI last Sunday, but the crosswind was stupid 15mph 18mph gusts. I made three runs and left.

Hey whats up guys I live here in Colorado springs and here's my beauty(lol). She's a 1985 Bronco XLT w/ the 351w 9" Rear and 33x12.5 tires. Paid 400$ minus the 33's they were on my old F150. She needs a paint job something fierce!

First pick of her not in the best parking spot(work) but its covered 8hrs a day. The grease spots underneath aren't from her, but from another POS I had that I wrecked and sold.(93 Tbird)

I like this pic here mucho better!
