Although I don't even have a diesel, I always like to know the prices just incase I make the switch over.....seen prices between $3.89-99 locally this past week in the La Palma/Cypress/Buena Park area
Just paid $3.69 at Chevron at Slauson and Serapis in Pico Rivera. We just got home from a trip to WY. Bought diesel in NV, UT, and WY. CA diesel prices are lower than any of those states. Unusual.
Not unusual at all. Been this way for awhile. The whole "CA gas so much more $$" is all but done.
I think it is unusual, in the long term, for any fuel to be cheaper in CA. I can't say why it isn't so recently, because as Marc noted, our fuel tax is higher than any other state, except maybe New Englanders. My guess is that demand is low currently, because regardless of what the current politicians are blowing, the CA economy still sucks.
