No problem but you might want to tell that to the other people that post fuel prices from other states also.

Staying with the out of state theme.
I payed a whole dollar less than Calif. on my trip to Iowa.
Felt good under my hood, like it should.

BTW I think I met Pitcru6's avatar one crazy night in Tampa.
In a former life.

Although I don't even have a diesel, I always like to know the prices just incase I make the switch over.....seen prices between $3.89-99 locally this past week in the La Palma/Cypress/Buena Park area

Just paid $3.69 at Chevron at Slauson and Serapis in Pico Rivera.

We just got home from a trip to WY. Bought diesel in NV, UT, and WY. CA diesel prices are lower than any of those states. Unusual.

Wow, that's odd.

Not unusual at all. Been this way for awhile. The whole "CA gas so much more $$" is all but done.

Why, did other states start adding 50 cents worth of tax for every gallon also?
It's been my experience that fuel is cheaper out of state.

You would think but diesel here has been lower than a lot of places, if you look for it. $4.19 can ALWAYS be paid if you don't look.

Diesel is around $3.89-$4.04 depending where you stop here.

Which is bologna. Gas is $3.35.

I think it is unusual, in the long term, for any fuel to be cheaper in CA. I can't say why it isn't so recently, because as Marc noted, our fuel tax is higher than any other state, except maybe New Englanders. My guess is that demand is low currently, because regardless of what the current politicians are blowing, the CA economy still sucks.
