Redline

What is the 5.4L redline. 2005 Screw? Maybe i am hitting it once in a while? When "merging" into traffic or taking off out of a parking lot into traffic it revs up and then stumbles as if all power is lost. Busy "merging" and have not seen exactly what RPM, around 5500?

5210 I think. There is a dyno graph showing exactly where it is. FTE Ken even commented about it when he did his RoushCharger install.

Ever since i put on a CAI i hit it now and again, especially if i do a short trip, park and them get back. Maybe if it is a little cold still then it tends to hold on longer and hit that mark?

have you had the belt chirp when you hit 2nd gear yet?

scared the hell out of me the 1st time it happened. I don't think I've ever hit my redline though. never enough space in front of me to let it stretch out that much

where did you do it at?

Yes to belt chirping. As to where....anywhere that i gotta go gotta go. At redline it must have a shutdown feature or something.
