Thanks.... it will definately look better when i get my tires !!!

As for the lights, its been a project i have been wanting to do for a while (this is the 3rd truck i have owned, and 3rd set of cablights i have installed)... but, Tylus is the ring leader here.... had he not taken the plunge, i dont know if i would have..... i wasnt sure how they would look on the 150's due to the slightly smaller size. but, after seeing them, I LOVE THEM !!!

thanks jstnromero...I knew they were Roush. Was just hoping I could get 'em for cheaper than $30 a pop + shipping. Same price on eBay as well.

ya i have been looking for them myself for my dads ride. He has firestone bags in the back and wanted to mount the gauge in the vent. I cant seem to find them anywhere for cheaper than 30 bucks or so...guess that is what happens when you are looking at Roush haha

Funny how this happens! I've been thinking about adding these lights for months and not sure if it would work, now ya'll provide several examples! I was looking more along the higher profile F250 style but I read in one of the threads they may not fit. Is that correct or will they fit if set back on the cab. Appreciate all the input, this has answered alot of questions.

swing by a dealer and ask to test fit them. or see if you can snag some off a wrecked Superduty.

If you can get the Superduty bases, the Recon smoked lens are about $40.

Did you install them yourself? How difficult if you did, or how much? Looks great.

Matt and I both did it ourselves.

fairly easy actually. I took about 5 hours and lost a little skin on my monster hands. You just need some confidence and alot of measuring. the wiring is really really easy with LED's.

here is my thread on the install...and alot of pics. I tried to be very in-depth

sorry for the delay guys.... we just put my ship into dry dock, so its been a busy couple days to say the least ! anyhow, yes the vent gauge pod is the Rousch version. i ordered it from the dealer for 30.00. i was actually expecting it to cost more. i love it though, makes for a super clean install.

for anyone else considering installing the cab lights, then i say go for it !!! its super easy, and looks awesome. just take your time, and MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE.... then drill !!! you will do just fine.

and tylus..... you cant tease us with your hints as to the next mods !!!
