2001 F350 v10 that won't start

Guys,

I have a 2001 F350 v10 that won't start. It turns over, is getting fuel, but no spark. There are no codes on it's computer, either...

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Rob

Get a gauge and check fuel pressure.

Definitely!

Gotta see if you're getting any pressure before we go any further.

Did you check the fuel shut off switch in the passenger kick panel?

Checked the shut off switch and it is not engaged.

I will get a fuel gauge tomorrow.

I noticed in my owners manual that it mentions a fuse for the fuel pump and someone mention at the parts shop that there should be a relay as well. I did not see any mention of a relay in the haynes or owners mani....

I found a small box with 2 relays in it next to the fuse box in the engine compartment, but I can't find anywhere what they are for?!

Relays 38 and 39 are for the trailer tow backup lamp and battery charge circuits. Relays 40 and 41 are for the ESOF system. They should be listed in your manual with the rest of the fuses/relays. Ford just doesn't mention that they are in their own seperate box right next to the main power distribution box under the hood.

It's in the "I/P relay block" - I think that's one of the blocks under the hood near the battery distribution box (the one with all the fuses).

One of the wires should be LB/OG (light-blue with orange stripe), another is red, another is DG/YE (dark green with yellow stripe)

f350 no start

Well, I plugged in a fuel guage and it reads 35 psi.

A couple days ago I tried the old trick of spraying starter fluid in to the intake to see if it would try to start and it did attempt to start. It definitely wanted to go. So, I thought that the ignition was working and it wasn't getting fuel...
Wrong.

So, it's back to ignition....
