That measures 21" from the center line. That's what I see in the picture. BTW: Great pics. Now I know the first mod that I want to do to the new truck. I might drop the headliner before I drill just to make sure that I don't slip and push a drill bit through it.
yep...100% right......just proves that my proof-read before post isn't adequate

You really don't need to remove the headliner first, but I understand the caution completely. The only thing that is somewhat close is the plastic bracketry for the in-cab center light. I might have a hole in it that shouldn't be there.
That's why I say to remove it when wiring. This allows you to wire everything up, and then tuck it out of the way.

really hope this helps some guys out with their decision. It was about a 5 hour install. I'm extremely paranoid...so I measured 3-4 times, got ready to drill...and measured again.

I think the headlight mod is next so the heads match the Recon's

I would like to do that mod but...I dont think I would be able to drill holes into my roof. I dont think I could get up enough courage to do it. Other than that I would toally love to do it because it looks awesome.

Did you use silicon when you set the light on the roof, or do the lights seal well enough?

I initially did it without clear silicone that remains flexible...and they do seal up tight against the cab...but I'm a paranoid type of person.

Especially after the Lund Visor on this truck and the 3 yrs of chasing down leaks because the previous owner had 1/2 a**ed the install.

so today I went back and put silicone up all over liberally.

btw, I know my doors look like butt right now. I was having some issues with the AVS Vent Shade on the Pass Rear door coming loose. So I pulled all 4 loose with the intentions of new tape...but that crap is hard to remove
