I think Bigrig if you check into how many liters are in one of your gallons,we would be paying 5.29 cents a gallon,so our prices are a bit higher. We arent comparing though,at least iam not,iam just saying I dont understand.
It is a problem, we're definitely being screwed. When I started this thread about fuel prices, oil was in excess of $130/bbl. Right now its under $100/bbl and we're paying ridiculous prices like this. Someone's making a pile of money right now.

Please understand I'm a Canadian in Canada reporting the price of gas I paid in a border town, that gas station less than a mile into Washington state. I just thought it was funny how BC pays more for gas than Ontario, but the minute Ontario finally catches up and pays more than 1.40 the whole country freaks out.
Iam not sure why it seems that way, other than there are way more people in Ontario than BC?So,I guess when we get upset it seems like there are more people complaining? Not sure.Iam not complaining,I just dont understand little things, like,if the tank of gas the gas station got last week cost us 1.29,and then the price goes up when its still the same tank(or tanks) of gasoline to 1.39...shouldnt it be when they have to pay more, then we do?They still have the same gasoline in the tanks that they didnt have to pay more for,but we do?Things like that.
just to ask .. today one station had gas at 1.22 and across the street it is 135.9 and the price of oil is still at 85 a barrel ..any rhyme or reason ??
I don't complain about it too much. Last fall we were driving to kamloops, by the time we hit blue river I was in need of some fuel ( for the second time). I almost swallowed my chew when I saw the 146.9 price of fuel. I had paid 106.9 in edmonton when we left.
