Question new leak.....

I lifted the rear of my truck 1" Yeah 1 friggin inch!!!
Now the output shaft of the transfer case is leaking.
Is this normal? Will a new seal fix the problem? I mean lift the rear 1 inch and get a leak? I mean I had my truck parked for about 25 mins today, and had a puddle under it on my new driveway.

any ideas?

Chris

If you pulled the driveshaft out then its possible you could have messed up the seal a little bit on installation, i have seen many people come in with the same problem and not knowing why, new seal and your good to go.

never pulled it out. Gotta order the seal monday. Can't believe that autozone and advance don't have one. I'm sure NAPA does, but they are closed till monday too.

I'll let ya know if the seal, whenever I get it, fixes the problem
