its a 47 or older, hard to tell more from that pic

42-47 were all the same style! i sure could use that center strip on the hood. truck looks to be in very nice shape!!!!!!!!!!!

Bob, is that a 4 legged jack stand I see? Great looking truck. As stated before, '47 or earlier. Not my favorite body stile but a nice truck anyway.

What's odd is the turn signals below the headlights. There should be small lights in the outer fender area. I'll include a pic showing the front. And here's a link to a sweet 1946 at the western Nats. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...nationals.html

Hi Scott,
I think if you look close you can see that those lights areafter market stuff and probably not that old. If I remember correctly, some of that lighting used to be optional so it may not have had any signal or parking lights when it was made.

I was also told that it may be earley 45 post war truck, but
I dont know. If it still there tommorow what picks of the
truck would help you ID it. Give me a angle for the pics
that would help

1942-47 is the same truck. But from what I can see is that it does have a 46-47 hood on it. B/c the 42-45 hoods have a badge on them that said Ford to where the 46-47 has the Ford scripted in the side of it. Very nice truck. Are you going to buy it. I would love to have it. I'm looking for one if you decide to buy it and resale.
