front end problems

i have a 94 f-250 4x4, 7.3 diesel. i just did some front end work on it. i replaced the front pads and rotors, repacked bearins and new seals w/ new u-joints. also changed drag link and shocks. when i turn the wheel left and right in 2- wheel drive everything is o.k. , when i turn it in 4- wheel drive it seems to skip or hop . put it back in 2 - wheel drive o.k. again. what do yall think? thanks in advance!

and you NEVER noticed this before?

both axles have the same ratio to allow them to go down the road, but when you make a turn, the rear axles transcribes a smaller radius, AND the front wheels are no longer in parallel so she sorta hops.

You oughta try it with front AND rear posi. My old Jeep J4000 had such and it felt like you were in a wreck.

no Im saying that this is what a 4x4, in 4wd does on dry, non-giving pavement. (which is also why you should never drive a mechanically linked 4wd in 4wd on the dry!!)

its all good
