Does anyone know if you can convert a diesel truck to hydrogen safely and not hurt the engine. there are a lot of kits out there saying you can double your milage even with diesel engines by using on demand hydrogen just wondering if anyone has experience with this

If this could be done, I'm sure the auto makers would be on it with both feet. A diesel truck that gets twice the mpg would be like a winning lotery ticket for ford or GM.

 

there is the rub to this. there are a lot of kits with people saying you can.
but there is no proof you can.

the problem with all these hydrogen generator kits is, they require more energy to produce the hydrogen than the hydrogen can produce.

so it will actually cost more to run a hydrogen assist vehicle than it will to run the same vehicle on plain old fossil fuel.

some day in the future, the technology may be perfected so it will work as claimed, but for now, it is nothing more than a pipe dream, and a way for unscrupulous sellers to steal money from honest hard working people trying to improve their vehicles performance and fuel usage.
