I looked at Eastwood..... HAHAHAHA...I don't think I'd be using THAT on the ceiling!! Check out the video.... Water everywhere! I think I'm down to two options. Cut and replace the drywall (prob NOT an option as the parts are NOT at a joist) or textured paint! I have a trusted home improvement guy stopping by the house in the next few days...I'll trust what he has to offer as advise.

hey i hope hey will give him follow up counseling! don't want them to drop the ball on this one-since it's your son! if ya know what I mean?? none of that sweep it under the rug crap! if they won't help him better to cut him loose and let him get help back home! well my opinion and you know the old saying about them

I removed some fake oak beams... made of foam and were abot 4-5" wide shaped (on end) like a U.....top of the U was glued to the ceiling wirh LOTS of glue by original owner. I cut them down and was left with the glue piled up about 1/8 to 1/2" on ceiling. Trying to get it smooth enough to paint without ruining the drywall.....Don't know if I'll do it....Looking at options. Textured paint looks like the cheapest option.
