I didn't see anything that stated it was a drive axle ( but I could have missed it ) it's probably just a tag axle on airbags that can be dumped like a spread axle trailer on a big rig. Its a neat idea .

I'm going to a wedding near there in two weeks, maybe I'll try to track it down and get some particulars. If it came with the boat it would be a hell of a deal.

Agreed, there doesn't appear to be a driveshaft going the the rear axle.

You couldn't lock any pair of wheels together and still be able to turn. Besides, with a through pinion axle (like a semi) you have all your power going through something that is inside the diff, not something bolted onto it and sticking 18 inches up.

And the eBay truck is lowered. Which again defeats any benefits of haivng a beefed up tow rig. Worthless.
Whats wrong with a lowered tow rig?
I bet it would be a great tow rig.

I think the colour is kinda ugly but the rest of the truck is pretty nice.
The guy spent alot of time and money on it and if he likes it , thats all that counts!

I would like to see it hook up to my 40ft gooseneck and go haul 16K of hay. That would impress me....but it is still an ugly color.

With the suspension mods it has....doubtful it could do it.

Exactly, thats what I was thinking. Also, wonder how he backs the boat down the ramp with the body that close to the ground.

Does lowering it make it weaker?
Im sure it could pull a 5th wheel travel trailer etc.
It doesnt really look like a pig /hay farm hauler anyway.

Ever drove a vehicle with no suspension, it ain't fun. It can't have much if any.

Depending on how it's put together, however I wouldn't want to transfer the shock from lack of suspension to any of my trailers. Also, if it's not twin screw I would hate to get on uneven pavement such as entering a parking lot with a trailer. You may be there a while.

Well, usually when I see a truck that low, it's on bags. So when I do see it that low, the bags are deflated, which means they get aired up to do any "real" driving.

I'm not saying it is bagged, I'm not saying that the way it looks is it's ride height, hell, I'm not really saying anything. But you can park a truck and take pictures. I didn't see any pictures of it rolling down the road.
