I had to share this:
The teacher gave her fifth grade class an assignment: Get their parents to tell them a story with a moral at the end of it.
---The next day, the kids came back and, one by one, began to tell their stories.
There were all the regular types of stuff: Spilled milk and pennies saved. But then the teacher realized, that only Janie was left.
"Janie, do you have a story to share?"
"Yes ma'am. My daddy told me a story about my Mommy. She was a Marine pilot in Desert Storm, and her plane got hit. She had to bail out over enemy territory, and all she had was a flask of whiskey, a pistol, and a survival knife.
She drank the whiskey on the way down so the bottle wouldn't break, and then she parachuted right into the middle of 20 Iraqi troops........
She shot 15 of them with the pistol, until she ran out of bullets, killed four more with the knife, till the blade broke, and then she killed the last Iraqi with her bare hands."
''Good Heavens, 'said the horrified teacher. What did your Daddy tell you was the moral to this horrible story'?"
...."Don't Screw with Mommy when she's been drinking."
....I love these touching stories !!!

I'm running my spare because last year I had my old neighbour try and slash my tire. They didn't get through the side wall though and the tire still has air in it. I have a different spare tire I need to swap onto the rim but I haven't had time or I end up forgetting.

Nice story Grant, and your truck is coming along nicely

Ha, I`d like to be out cruising in my new ride but life keeps getting in the way Sherm.
I'm lovin` these cool temps too, a real nice change from the heat we had.
More good progress on yout truck Grant.
Your truck will handle an 8000 pounds load with complete ease, my son`s 5th wheel camper was hardly noticeable behind his F350.

Morning boys. A sweet +8 out there this am. I'm getting the itch to hunt. Gerry, the winter isn't any longer than it has to be I'm not in love with -30, but the nice part about the cold is that you can stay inside and dress up to be comfortable. You can only get so naked and there is still no relief from the heat.

Got a catalog from LMC truck... Really sucks that our dollar is in the toilet right now.

Have a great Tuesday guys!!

Happy Tuesday mornin'all. I don't mind winter if there wasn't any wind. I too froze my feet when I was younger, and paying for it now. Also when I was an apprentice Mechanic, the older tech's would say " you shouldn't do that. You'll pay for it when you're older". "No Way. I'm young and indestructible''. Well I'm paying for it now, with arthritis and what not. Good thing I bought a buch of part's in the last couple of years. Been givener on the old truck, just using up the parts I already have. I needed some header connector pipe's. Speedway has them for $40.00 US + shipping. Believe it or not Auto Clearing Chrysler in Saskatoon sells speed parts and had a set on clearance for $30.00cdn, and we have a truck in Saskatoon today Have a great day guy's.

You guys are right. I'm 20+ years behind you two and already sometimes feel the effects off too many hard landings.

Last week I did take a little trip in my 2015 Mustang and my mileage came out to 27.5 miles per gallon hand calculated.
I`m just like Gerry with having cold feet plus my hands once winter hits.
Thanks for the reminder about Auto Clearing handling speed parts Grant, I heard that a while back and forgot all about it.
So are you buying that beater Gerry...
