where you at Spider.......? thought someone would get onboard and talk?? Guess you may have read about the blown motor......kinda funny but it was fun for awhile....
just checked in here, havent been on the net for a little while, mainly just checking my email from my phone, but now have some time to get on from home, you enjoying the weather out there? I saw on the internet that its in the upper 90's in muskogee, round our neck of the woods, its been right about 80 with 60-75% humidity, so not too much fun, but at least it finally got sunny here, as opposed to the ten month winter that we had here
I would give a case of cold beer for some Washington weather.....103 & 104 heat indext around here...just the othe day I poured out 3 frogs out of the dog water and I think they got pissed.........have a good one

I think they are predicting 102 to 105 temps over the next couple days. Then you have to add the heat index to that!!!!
yea that heat is a killer, the hotter it gets the worse I do at the races. The past few weeks of racing I havent won a round. Its 115-125 in the car with no windows to roll down. I'm ready for some cooler weather, but its about 2 months away. Its too hot to work on my trucks so I have made no progress. Though I did unload the 64 to a new owner that will finish out nicely.
so what exactly is the heat index? we have nothing like that out here, we only worry when it gets super warm after the snow season due to massive flooding that can happen out here
well, I would rather have the heat than be cold, today its only supposed to hit upper 60s, but with rain. so back to the heat index, is it a factor of humidity and temperature? or something else?
OK SPIDER,,,here it is... it's like chill factor only at the other end of the gauge, now I know you have felt the chill factor, so think of it while your sweating??? Hope that helps....
somewhat, around here, the chill factor is based on ambiemt air temp, humidity, and wind, the wind being the largest contributor, that said, I guess that I dont see how wind would make it feel warmer, unless it was blowing over a desert if you will
