I have a toolbox on the back of my 71 F100. The regular type, running all the way across the bed up against the cab, opens on each end. It appears to be very old, and is definately not waterproof, but I think the price is right (free). If anyone wants it, E-mail me. I'm in Broken Arrow.

I need a left (driver side) headlight for my 1994 F150. The bulb came loose and melted the plastic socket of the reflector.

Quote: I need to buy an engine stand large enough for a fully built 390. I am thinking one of those 1000# units with the 4 wheels and all that, for stability. I will be leaving it out (I don't have a garage) in the weather under a cover. thanks y'all, lemme know!!Quote:
I had one of the import 1000# motor stands, I wasn't real confident with a small block hangin on. I bought a 2000# stand at o'reilly's for 119$ I think harbor fright has one just like it for about 100$ I had a fully dressed 360 on it with no worries

Another good place to look is Steve's Wholesale Tools on Santa Fe just south of WalMart. Also keep an eye out for a tool sale at the Cleveland County fairgrounds in Norman. They put out a sale flyer in the newspaper the week of the sale. Get there early on the first day because many items ell out. That is where I bought my engine hoist and a few tools. Got a good deal on a rubber floor mat for my work bench. Makes it easy on the feet when you spend a lot of time at the bench.

I was in Harbor Freight today and they have a heavy duty engine stand rated at 2000 lbs for $79.99 marked down from $99.99. The store has moved to the corner of Reno and McArthur in OKC.

I've got some stuff I want to sell. I really don't want to trade for anything but money, but I'll entertain the possibility. Most of these parts are in Stillwater in my Dad's shop, I am in Tulsa. Here goes:

9" rear end out of 76 Thunderbird. Open diff. spline count and gear ratio unknown. The housing on this thing is the largest 9" housing I've ever seen, so possibly 31 spline. $150

8" rear end out of 67 Cougar. 3.00 ratio, open diff. Possibly have more than one, don't remember. $100

3 C6 transmissions for 429/460. All need rebuilt. One has a chunk out of the bellhousing on the bottom, not a structural issue. All have tailshaft for slip yoke driveshaft. $50 each or all three for $125

1 C6 transmission for FE engine. Needs rebuilt. Tailshaft for slip yoke. $75

1 3spd floor shift HD trans for flathead engine. This is a whole setup including flywheel, clutch disc and pressure plate. Pulled from 48-52 F-1, not certain of exact year. It's a long story, but this trans only has a few hundred miles on it since new. $250

Stock 429/460 iron 4 barrel intake manifolds. I think there are 3 of them. $20 each, $50 for all, or will go with BBF stuff below when it sells.

429/460 parts. I've got 2 or 3 blocks, 2 or 3 429 cranks, a few sets of rods, tins, timing covers, brackets, bolts, etc. A very good size truck load of big block stuff. Some is in perfect condition, some is junk. I don't have time to go through it all and see. There are enough parts to build one complete shortblock and maybe a second. Take it ALL for $250.

Dual snorkel air cleaner assembly for 82-85 Mustang 5.0 HO. Needs cleaned and painted. Good condition. $50

Ford 302 engine. Disassembled, but complete AFAIK. Came out of 77 Mercury Monarch and was running. I swapped a 351W in for the guy and still have the old engine. $100.

Iron 2 barrel intake for FE. $10

Take everything in this add for $1000 and I might throw in some other stuff that I am forgetting about as well.

Sorry

Hehehe.... Sorry Silver Streak. No more for sale ads. You can post them in the classified section and post a link in this forum... but I didn't tell you that.

Sorry, didn't see that post. Where exactly is the classified section? I've looked up and down the forums and don't see one anywhere.
