35,000 miles

getting ready to change oil at 35000 in my truck 2006 stx with 5 speed manual tranny when should i change the tranny fluid and rear end fluid thanks for your comments

Unless you have submerged the rear end in water,you're good until 100k miles or more.I'm not too familiar with the Ford 5 speed,which uses MerconV fluid,but if it were mine I would have changed it at 30k miles.

So that mean we are good for 100K on the Front Diff as well? What about the T-Case?

T-case is set for 150,000 miles unless it's an off-road truck, then it's 60,000 miles too.

Can't find anything other than to inspect the fluid on the front diff, so I'd change it at 105,000 miles like the rear diff. Cheap insurance.

I just changed all my driveline fluids at 90k, both diffs and T-case. T-Case fluid was a little brown, but other than that, it is cheap insurance. Very easy to drain and fill, so I would do it when you do the axles.

True. If you've got the time, and the money for it, it's cheap insurance to throw them all together...
