I went out to the big river this afternoon after work - she still high.

Pulled two brim out to see what was going on (with a cast net) and it seemed like the bait fish were kinda thin...

Small net though. It was a 3' radius. My nine foot would have been a risk though - too many snags down in there.

It tells me that high water is going to mess things up for a while, but live bait should work because they all got flushed down river...

I'm looking for a crick to get crawfish out of because shelled fresh crawfish tail is the best bait on the planet!!!

What happens when a shellfish is cracked open? The fish come a mile to get it, don't they?

Catfish like crawdad too, no fish turns it away. I'm lookin' for some....
