Peddle to the Gym round trip 17 miles, drive our Escape more. Put on 1,000 miles on my 450 since last October and 12,000 miles on the Escape. The Escape probably saves me speeding tickets. When I jump in my truck find I am 10-15mph over the speed limit. Will be towing 3,000 miles this summer cost is up about $350 over last year. Sure am going to enjoy driving it each and evey mile. Haven't put my Firehawk on the road yet this year so saving that amount in insurance. At least this winter I did not get my 450 covered in Salt, should last longer.

I've got to have a truck for hauling as well but my truck, sadly, is no longer my daily driver. Just using the little car for going to and from work and the gym saves us $300 - $400 monthly. I'm actaully fine with the truck sitting in garage all armored all'ed up just waiting for some work or hunting. It is was it is - I'd just assume use the $$$ for something else.
Firehhawk - your gonna be ready for a triathon soon.

lucky for me I have a company work van that I get to bring home every night. For most of the daily driving we use my wifes EDGE, it does ok on gas. My 350 mostly gets used for trips to HOME DEPOT, and towing the camper. To show how much I use the truck I took delivery 6-28-07 and to this day I only have 3400 miles on the odometer and 159 hours on the engine.

I fall in the barely use it category.....I took delivery in November and now I have just hit 2,000 miles..I have a 2003 Jetta TDI it gets 43mpg and 600 miles to a tank and that is when I drive as if stolen so needles to say it see the most driving although I love taking my SD out it is more of a luxory to for me (a very expensive one that I wish I had waited and bought used at half price)

I just bought a lincoln mark lt (F150) crew cab. It used to be if four guys were going to the job site, we took four diesel 350s. Now the trucks stay at the construction site, and every one jumps in the gas jobber and we taxi back and forth. Its not quite the same running a 5.4, but its saving me a bunch of money on diesel. (between trucks and equipment my diesel bill averages $6500.00 a month)
