Well it was not as good as I would have hoped for first pull showed 297 HP then they realized that they didn't bring the correct hook up to measure my engine RPMs so we had to use my wheel speed to Rpms which gave us just a rough estimate and I pulled a 280 hp & 579 torque. I was disappointed but it seemed that everyone was running low .

Hey Brian, your truck can't be any worse off than mine, at least you have 8 cylinders pulling for you, I have only 5

I had an Audi that has a slant 5. It leaned over like the old dodge slant 6, except it only had 5 cylinders.

Bet your has more torque.

Plus mine is 52 years old.

I didn't know anyone in Ark. had a portable dyno. It's a pretty big thing around this part of NC. I'd be up for a dyno run or two when we get home at the end of Oct. Last time out was 476rwhp with 732 tq, but we've had the heads redone since then. Hope to be over 500 next time around......all fuel, no drugs.

Yep. Local guy just moved up here from Florida with a portable Mustang. Sets it up at the Mean Pig BBQ shack in Cabot on the second Tuesday of every month.

Hey Dave. A buddy of mine waited around at AZ long enough to see that common rail Cummins run. He did a shade over 500/1000.

Hi Dan. Welcome to the forum.

The Dyno should be set up at the BBQ shack tomorrow...and the second Tuesday of every month from what I understand.

If we could get enough trucks to commit to doing it, we could probably hire it out on a weekend too. What do you have done to your truck?

I'm in Bentonville....but am more than willing to drive to wherever the dyno is. (wouldn't complain if it was "nearby" either...)

I just got this truck...haven't done any mods to it...but it came with a Banks SixGun tuner & speed loader (full system - tuner to engine to exhaust). So...on paper, it ought to do pretty decent. And, on the street....when the turbo kicks in...if I got it on "level 6" (max)...it does get up and go nicely....I can easily squawk the tires going into 3rd gear...

But, it's got brand new oversize tires (305/70R16)...so, I imagine off-the-line performance is less than it could be....but I ain't complainin...

That said....I'm definitely quite curious - given all the above - what the actual "at the rear wheels" horsepower/torque for this engine/tuner setup really is...

*shrug*

Dan
