my brother was just given a 72 ranchero gt, He wants to restore it to original or as close to it as possible. Does anyone know a place online he can check the vin for the stats on his ride. We are also wondering what the most common engine was in this car, Right now it has a 400 in it but it is worn out and the previous owner dosn't think this is the stock engine, any help would be apreciated, thanks in advance for any help

I can decode everything: the VIN and all the codes on the Warranty Plate, just post the info here.
