Engine Numbers
Can someone help me decipher these engine numbers?

Engine block above transmission - F884

Flathead - M271 and 8RT

Also on the left head - A22

Engine Numbers
8RT indicates late series Truck engine '48-53 US, '54 Canada

None of the other numbers are helpful - as near as anyone can find they are just local foundry numbers.

Check out this website to determine the date it assembled.
