Thud/Knock from rear of truck

So now I have this irritating thud or something coming from the rear end of the truck, like a knock or a thud. Happens when traversing driveways, rounding corners etc.. Anybody have any ideas????

i would first try your tail gate by takeing it off or adjusting it in tighter to see if that stop it ...if that doen't do it ..it might be the slip yoke needs lubed up their is a tsb on it ...for my truck it was the tail gate the rubber stoper wore down leting it move

No idea. I would check the spare tire to make sure it's tight. Check the exhaust is still tight and not binding up. I don't know, got anything in your bed?

Will have to check tailgate, spare tire, tomorrow but no nothing in the bed and I removed the hitch so that isnt it either. Im wondering if its spring related?

It might be spring related, but I would imagine you would hear the noise more often, i.e. each time you hit a bump. I think SilverFX4 is probably right, probably the tailgate.. Keep us posted on your findings.

Maybe a shock is loose at one end. Does it have a rear sway bar? Check end links.
