A waste of money.

But to answer your question, it goes under your throttle body (kind of like the carb part of EFI trucks), and it is 'suposedly' gives the air going into the engine a swirl affect and it 'helps' power and gas mileage.
What a load of sh**.

It goes between the throttle body and intake manifold and is supposed to increase the volume of air entering the motor. Unless an engine is heavily cammed up w/ lots of cylinder head work done, a throttle body spacer won't make any performance improvement.

It allows more space/time for the fuel mixture to mix with the air charge prior to entering the combustion cylinder.

and it's pretty much only good on carbeurated engine...Spacers have been pretty much proved worthless and a waste of money on EFI vehicles. About the only EFI they work on are the old Chevy's that use 2 injectors in a Carb body
