Hey, Welcome to FTE.
Adding PS to a 65 F100, Yes they did come from the factory equiped with it,
Back then they had a bendix steering box, "Direct Bolt in" The Saganaw steering box from any 73-79 f100 will work the Best But.... If you want to retain the stock steering coloum from your truck You have to shorten it about 2 inches so the wheel is not in your chest. Or you can use the coloum from the doner Truck
What engine do you have in the truck?
If it is a 352 V8 find a power steer pump from a truck with a 360 or 390 and Dont forget the Pullys on the Crank! you need them for the Pump.
Make sure you get the Pitman arm for the steering box.
Now if you are lucky enough to find all this in a recking yard Check for the Disc brakes and power brake booster and off set bracket You will need the Spindles also
But it would be easyer to pull the whole I beams insted
Good luck with your truck.
