What have you done to your truck today?
I need to get with the tank swap, but it's just so darn cold. Supposed to really warm up next week. Close to 70 Wednesday they are saying.

Was gonna just put rear pads and rotors on the wife's Expedition today. Ended up doing rear axle seals too. Was not expecting to do that, but it looked like it had just started to leak. Right side was worse but both had wet the parking shoes a little. Glad I caught it early.
I had ordered a set of 1" spacers for the rear springs, they have sagged a little since 2000 and you could tell it when looking from the side. I installed those today as well while I was under there. Sits perfectly level again.
I put on the spare set of wheels and tires. I want to keep the Michelins and the wheels it was running, they still have a little tread. The crap tires and spare wheels were a gift from a buddy, the wheels are identical to the ones we had. Getting new tires and might as well let them toss these crappy "maypops" instead.
Changed the oil with Pennzoil 5w30 and a fresh Motorcraft filter. All back together now and getting new Michelins tomorrow at Costco. Ready for another 160K.
Pic with junk tires. The spacers leveled it perfectly.

Discovered the truck has decided to start having hard start issues (posting thread later), stared to diagnose and still trying to research the issue, truck at the moment takes at least 30 seconds of hard cranking to get it going.
not really related to the truck, but its another Ford at least
discovered a minor leak in exaust day I took mustang home, today while driving to confirm location (took it to another mechanic/exhaust shop)the car emitted massive amount of exhaust into the passenger cabin forcing me to roll both windows down so after comfirming the leak I arranged with the dealer to have it repaired (going to make sure its at no cost to me) along with a few ther issues that I pointed out at time of purchase

Well I haven't done it yet, but today I am going to be putting all 4 new balljoints and 2 new tierod ends in my '95. After 203000 miles the factory parts are just a tad on the worn out side.
Edit: Also replaced 2 u-joints while I had the axles out for the balljoint r&r.
The truck drives like a new one now, and we even got the alignment pretty dang close. Drives pretty darn straight, but I am still going to be making an alignment appointment just to be sure.

Well, just picked up a 1993 F-150 a few days ago. So today I changed the oil and filter, installed new headlamp bulbs 'cause one was burned out, replaced the battery cable connectors 'cause the ones on the truck were completely corroded and looked like crud, installed tie downs to the bed and then did silly stuff - like wrapping the steering wheel and tossing in some new floor mats.
Tomorrow I'm doing a radiator flush and washing the truck. Oh, and installing those little bulbs that are supposed to light up the rear license plate.
Love this truck.
