I just finished replacing my radiator, serpentine belt, door latch cable and reattached some wires to my amplifier that managed to wiggle free. Next week I get to install my home made catch can and intake.

I think your truck was trying to be your wingman there.

Yep sure did the first time I did it it helped but the second time I did (because I replaced the master and all) it stayed the same.
My bleeding process has been like in the book:
right rear
left rear
abs module
right front
left front
we did it 4 times to make sure no bubbles came out.

It took us a while to find out it had abs brakes I didn't think they came out with abs brakes till 92 but I guess not.

My buddy who works on these fords all the time says that is just plane crazy.

Anyways: picked up some more parts for the trucks at the junkyard:
for my 88 finally found a 4x4 emblem in good shape
for the 91 F250 found some skull and bones to match the name cross bones going to throw it on the hood, front fenders and tailgate.
For the 84 B2 a few more small parts that we forgot yesterday.
then some parts for the chevy van (all the lights)
all for $30.

Then went and talked to my buddy and he said he just bought a 94 4x4 power stroke diesel F250 that ran and drove (he drove it home) for $250 body is in good shape and no bad glass. I wish I could get the deals that guy gets.

Installed a new wiper switch, swapped the brake booster out, and changed the oil. The short list of immediate repairs is done so now I have no excuse to start teaching the boys how to drive stick...

So after a day of sanding, Bondo and more sanding, I got the first coat of filler primer on. I used an entire spray can for the first coat. It is much better but still needs a bit of work. I plan to wet sand it on Tuesday to try and clean it up.

Here is the spots I have to fix:

It does not show up well on camera, but they are essentially low spots where the old paint would not come off. I think when I start wet sanding they will go away.

The only thing I am unsure of at the moment is if I want to go with something like this for painting:
http://www.paintscratch.com/neworder...8non-metal%29/

OR if I want to get it just about prepped for paint and take it to a professional and have them finish any lats bit of prep and then paint it. The kit I linked to can be ordered in the right color for my truck and seems to have everything I need, I just don't know how it will turn out. I might just take it when it when the prep is done to see what it would cost to have it painted.

As usual my updates come the day after, but I got a brand new windshield! I have a buddy that used to work at a glass shop and is good at doing them, we had the whole thing done for about $80. Would have been even cheaper if he still had access to a commercial account, he says the shops only pay about $40 for a windshield for our trucks.

Adjusted the rear shoes and e brake. I think it needs a little more fine tuning as I still have to go all the way to the floor with the e brake pedal so the truck doesn't move (unless that's how it's supposed to be) Either way the brake pedal feels much more firm.

Yeah, you should be able to make the e-brake tighter. The way I've got mine I couldn't even put it on the floor if I wanted to, and I'm no little guy.

Took some 220 grit sandpaper and wet sanded down the filler primer on the visor. Followed it up with 400 and then I shot another coat of filler primer. Just about all of the imperfections are gone so tomorrow morning I will be going over it all with 800 grit and then probably another layer of filler primer to finish it off.

Rewired trailer plug from 6 pin to a 7 way with trailer brakes. The beast was running warm around town so I threw in a new thermostat with no change. Threw a new clutch fan in it and painted the fan woo hoo she runs like an ice truck. Never forget the fan clutch it is one of the most overlooked parts on hot running trucks.

Picked up the other wheel and tire from my buddy he finally found it for the 91 F250. Now I have a matching set of tires and wheels plus a spare (stock for that).
Only thing is the tire is flat on the one we got from him so I am going to clean the wheel and pump it up and see where it is leaking might have to get the tire patched.
