I changed out my front pads and rotors, changed the oil and filter, painted/bolted in a fifth wheel hitch, wiring, and tailgate. Hauled my new (to me) 25' 4100lb fifth wheel trailer 150 miles in western Maine. The 300 did great. Its reputation for pulling hills is well deserved.
Regards

I don't know if I can have two trucks right now but if I could, I'd want a 300 I6 in it. I just love that motor.

BTW, I'm in East Bridgewater, MA. Maybe 45 minutes away?

Any pics of the USPS camper?

today I think I succeeded in screwing up all of the running lights that the only way I am going to get them all to work again is to rewire all of teh lights behind the cab....

Did some touch up painting on my bed and rails after removing the bed liner. Cut up and attached a plastic XLT "Ford" tailgate trim to the Blue Ox fifth wheel tailgate. I removed the backing so its transparent.

Changed the front brake lines, bled them and drove it around the block. The first time it's been on the road in three years.

Well I order new shocks, pretty sure the 15 year old original ones are hurting, went with Bilstein Heavy Duty shock about $255 bucks for them, I also order new mirrors and mounts, the chrome ones now are rusting, and the rust is getting bad, so I bought all new stainless steel ones for LMC Truck, also got new tail gate cables. Spent $400 bucks on the old girl today ahaha and more to come when I pull the bed of tomorrow and fix everything!

lets see...yesterday i had to get some fill dirt, the jersey shore traffic is unreal in summer, so instead of waiting in traffic, i took a short cut thru the woods, came to a nice big 80 ft long water hole, and jus had to drive thru it. i love playin in the muddddd, LOLOL boy was that stupid, it had a 3 ft ledge that dropped straight down, both front 35's tore up the wheel wells an pushed then into the engine, soaked the msd dist. and sucked in probably a few gallons of mud an water thru the K&N, hydroplaned thru the pit , jus got the back wheels on dirt and the thing went, puuut puuut pooofffff pofffffff and died lolol. hmmmmm stuck 4 miles from ppl, dried dist cap an rotor, cranked right over and kept on going, ON 7 cylinders (hole in #2 piston top) roflmfao i cant kill this damn 460, and i'm tryin. hit pavement again, loaded up 2 tons of fill dirt and came home. Today, shovel out dirt, and give the beast some kind of bath, maybe jus hose it down, it looks so cool mudded up
