got the truck into CarMasters two days ago to get the transfer case fixed. tried it my self but due to the recient cold spells and snow I figured it will be worth letting them fix it as they will be able to check it over for other issues if needed.
also picked up the parents car and brought it home and started looking for a "new" used car looking for either a Mustang or a Jaguar or a newer model year F series truck...
Got a flat in the 90 F150. Sidewall rotted out I guess and is ruined. Luckily I have the spare tire thing fixed and all our tools on it so we were able to get it home. Looks like time to get a new set of tires. Trying to find a decent set used or get a brand new cheap but decent set of 31 10.5 R15s for her.

got two new tires (stock 235s) on the front of the 90. Wanted 31s but woke up and needed tires for the envoy also (damn flat) so had discount had a cheap set for the envoy but made the budget for the tires go out the door on the 90.

On Saturday I got my trans n drive shaft hooked up in two n a half hours and slid into work with a minute to spare lol
Now to wait for tax return so I can get new speakers, thinking about cab lights as well, maybe some new spark plugs and head lights, gonna paint my grille black, oh and definitely an oil change!
well just approved a grand total of $700 bill to replace the transfer case, along with fluids and the needed work (don't mind this as its too cold and I don't really have a lift or needed tools for te work) just glad to have the truck back and driving again!!
I replaced my u-joints on my rear driveshaft today on my 1988 f150 4x4.. Went pretty smooth except one of the old ones was a pain in the a$$ to get out.. But nothing an air hammer won't fix!! Next is ball joints upper and lowers both sides.. Good times around here..
I have read post after post elsewhere about Moog ball joints and tie rod ends failing early. Do some research man, hate to see you do it twice. Not a crazy hard job, but doing it with the right parts the first time is a good way to keep your sanity LOL.
Yea I'm gonna have to I don't wanna have to do it agian for sure or damage something else from them failing. I'll have to do some checking around.. I really appriciate it though man
