Got my 3g alt swap done today, took part of last night and the rest of this evening to get it wired up and get the battery cable cut and crimped up. Now to get a slighty longer belt cause the new alt pully is larger and causing the tensioner to just barely rub the radiator hose. Other than that and tidying up my wiring to make it look more stockish it works great and couldn't ask for more.

Removed the original owner installed 12" drop mega mirror rear bumper about 2 years ago and had to remove the trailer connector to do so. Finally reinstalled it today. Now I need to collect a few adapters...

Up to the etching primer on my tailgate repair. 2 patch panels welded into the corners, looking better than rust already! Surfacer and finish tomorrow.

Didn't do anything with my truck per se except wash the windows, but my manuals came in for the Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis.

I'm not sure what's going on with Photobucket but with their so called improvements I can't seem to get my picture to up load. Oh well

I wish I could find a place to get a body panel other then just going down to the jy. I need the rear quarter panel under the rear passanger window that goes from the top body line all the way to the bottom body line and wraps around the back slightly

Replaced my passanger side outer tie rod end. I love how most of everything is super easy to replace on these trucks

The door interiors have bothered me since I got my pickup. They've been pulled a time or two and were pretty loose. I figured as I was in there, I would clean things up for another 20 years or so.

So, today I pulled the door panels, put new gears in the power window motors, got the power locks working flawlessly, replaced the window scrapers inside and out, and installed new Kenwood 6 1/2" speakers. Then, I reinstalled the door panels with all new retainer push-pins and now the doors feel solid.

If your window scrapers are cracked and hardened like mine were, I totally recommend the kit off of Rockauto.

Well the check engine light came on tonight. Codes 173 - HEGO indicates always RICH, and code 634 - Transmission Range (TR) voltage higher or lower than expected. Time to start digging....
