Took off my bald 32" BFG's and put my old 31" Dueler Revo's back on. I picked up a nail and was loosing 20 lbs of air over night, so I figured it was time to do something.

This is probably a good thing, because it will motivate me to get the front end fixed and aligned before getting some new meats for the truck. The tire fund hit it's max over a month ago, I just have been to busy to get to it.

Just gotta wait for my other car to get back from being loaned out...

Plan on probably doing the 32's again. I've thought about 33's, but 33x10.5's look a bit narrow to me and 33x12.5's would rub my radius arms more than the 32's already do.

I think the 32x11.5 is the perfect tire size for a semi leveled 4x4. I try to keep the truck looking (almost) stock.

I picked up this one off of Craigs-list for $600. Needs allot of work as it has a half installed 5.0. Being an inline six fan I'm thinking 4.9 with ZF. It already has 3.55 gearing. I'm in the middle of rebuilding Red so it will be put on hold until next year. Interior is in great shape and body is pretty good. It's going to need minimal body work and a fresh coat of paint.

I just put 33x12.5 on a leveled 1993 4x4 and it rubs the radius arms at full lock. The shop didn't have any 32s to test fit so its good to know that those rub also.

If its anything like the 80s trucks and it should be it shouldn't rub at all. Then again it is an F150 so that might be the problem.

My 33s rub but not bad and is rare that I need full lock. I back into parking spaces.

ive got 32's on now and they didnt rub with my old aluminum factory rims but they do with the chrome factory rims... the next set im going to get is 33 10.5's cause the narrower the tire the better the mileage, at least i hope lol

I've got factory aluminum rims and the rubbing isn't much, but it is there. I've considered 1/8" wheel spacers to take care of it, but I've gotten fairly used to the increased turning radius.

Are your factories 15x7s or 15x8s?

That looks like it unless somebody swapped to other wheels that are stock. My 88 has 15x7s so that's why I was wondering.

Picked up my headers form the local blaster. They are primed and painted. Just need to get them on the truck so the paint can fully cure. Hopefully next weekend will see the exhaust put in. Plans for a weekend vacation this week so they will have to wait.

Primer:
