Haven't posted for a while I still have the noise in my o4 screw with foot on brake in drive setting still was only doing it when it was cold out but now it's seem to be doing it more can anyone tell me what it might be it isn't the ash tray done checked that it's a buzzing/vibrating if you move the shifter just a little it will quit or accelerate it will quit also

 

possibly the locking device that prevents you from shifting out of park without applying the brake? maybe it is going bad?

 

I would find something else to worry about. Sounds like a typical sheet-metal 'buzz' that may turn up anytime in any vehicle. Start beating on stuff until you can affect it. Have somebody sit in the truck and duplicate the condition while you look underneath (don't get under there!) and probe with a broom handle at the catalytic converter heat shield.

 

Your dash or console ever been pulled apart? I had a noise in the dash of my old Blazer that drove me so nuts I pulled the dash and reinstalled every seam with silicone. Was dead quiet after that!
