Biodiesel or SVO in a 7.3L PSD, worth it or am I asking for trouble?

Just starting research on this, but, with diesel prices now $4.50/gal where I live, and I seem to be down 20% on my MPG since the new ULSD came out, the idea is starting to become more financially interesting.

I know there seems to be major issues if using SVO with regards to injectors, but, the numerous two tank kits out there seem to assert that when used properly 'everything is fine'. Has anyone actually performed a SVO conversion? Any comments?

The other thought is to start making biodiesel, information seems to indicate you can just pour it into a 7.3L PSD (assuming you made good quality fuel), and there should be no problems. Again, has anyone ran their PSD for an extended period of time, and many miles on 100% biodiesel?

Look forward to your thoughts/recommendations on this.
