These are "the clear bra" type that you don't remove. The advantages of these are:
No removal required when it gets wet or to clean.
Nearly invisible from 3 feet away. And in most cases, the average person will not see it at that range unless you point it out to them.
Treat it like the rest of the truck by washing and waxing. Other that no special care needed.
No fade line.
If damaged due to accident, only the damaged part needs to be replace.
Durable- This stuff is used on the Grand Am cars and every car in the Rolex Sports Car Series is using this.
7 year product warranty.
Downside; cost for your truck is around $300 for bumper and hood/fender/mirrors. Add another $100 for the grill and usually around 60-70 for lights.
Finding a good installer can be difficult. Not a DIY product.
Vs the traditional black bra that actually can damage the paint you're trying to protect by moving on the paint when driving. Any sand or other debris that slips in there is scratching your paint as it moves.
The vinyl over time fades and the paint underneath doesn't. Now you have a fade line where the rest of your truck fades slightly over time.
