Welcome to FTE

I can imagine you are having trouble finding those parts.

Ford didn't offer a F350 4WD till 1979, so your truck has been converted to 4WD, and what did the parts come from to make that conversion?

Did someone use the parts from a 1967/72 F250 4WD?

You'll have to find one to make a comparison.

> > Are you sure your truck is an F350? < <

Forget what the badges say.

What are the first three digits of your VIN (serial number)??

The VIN will be found on your registration, on the top of the right frame rail in front of the cab, and on the left door Warranty Plate...but if the door was swapped, the VIN on the plate might not match the registration.

Someone may have switched the F250 badges to F350 badges.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
What izit?

This is the MAJOR reason I hate swaps.

Ppl made these changes without recording what the parts came from...later on down the road, when the parts are worn out, they're usually clueless what was used, so into the Ford dealers parts department they came, dumped the parts on the counter and said...what are these for?

Experienced that, 100's of times.

If the dealer had a large parts inventory, it sometimes was possible to find out what izit.

If the dealer didn't have a large parts inventory, the customer left without finding a thing.

Today, ppl are stuck...because none of the dealers carry these parts, they're all obsolete.

The only suggestion I can make is, order a draglink and tie rod ends for a 1967/72 F250 4WD from a NAPA store, then compare them.

If they are different, do the same thing with 1973/77, or...?

EDIT: I thought of another way to ID what the parts are...what did the front axle come from? There's a way to tell.

Look on the right front axle tube, just adjacent to the inspection cover for the metal plate that has the DANA AXLE CODE on it.

The plate will bolted to the tube and is 2" x 1/2" and will have a 7 digit code similar to: 610023-1.

Post whatever code you find, that'll ID exactly what truck that front end came from..and mebbe the draglink and other parts will be the same application.

You have a 1970 F250 4WD.

F26 = F250 4WD / Y = 360 2V / R = San Jose CA Assembly Plant / H53752 = 1970

C7TZ-3304-B .. Draglink / Fits: 1967/72 F250 4WD.

C7TZ-3A130-B .. Tie Rod End-Right / Fits: Same as above.

C7TZ-3A131-B .. Tie Rod End-Left / Fits: Same as above.

FTE sponsor GREEN SALES has ALL of these parts (4-draglinks / 10 each of the T/R ends) NOS (new, old stock).

GREEN SALES sells Ford obsolete parts and is located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The parts catalog gives the lengths for the draglinks, where NPD (and others) get them from, the catalog also has ID numbers = to part numbers, if the part is so marked.
Your truck takes the same ones I typed above.

The problem was...the OP thought he had an F350..so what would have been used if that had turned out to be true?

It's all taken care of, I decoded the VIN and found out he has an F250 4WD.

I typed the correct Ford p/n's above and Green Sales has them.

And from what the OP says in the above post, he's got the parts on the way.
