Downsized..LOL!

Went from this:

To this:

Well after 10mpg & $4.46 for diesel, I pulled the plug and joined the F-150 guys again. I had originally got the F-450 to tow a camper after I retired but after coming down with the dreaded cancer and having to retire early, my priorities have changed. I've gone through the whole gamit of Ford trucks starting with my original 1999 F-150, then 2001 F-250, 2005 F-350, 2008 F-450 and now back to the 2008 F-150. I've enjoyed them all but as you get older and crap happens, it kinda forces you to make some changes..LOL!! I got an excellent deal so I would have been an idiot to not jump on it. The dealer paid off my F-450 and sold me the F-150 for $200 over invoice and then took off another $4250 for dealer incentives, rebates, and returning customer. It's a 2008 F-150 Lariat 4x4 CC, 5.4L, nav, sirius, back up camera, rear sensors, overhead rail storage, 20" wheels, captains chairs, heated seats..etc. Man I am so already over that F-450..LOL!! This new 2008 is awesome. Not going to do to much to it except exhaust and rear strip led light. Anyways take care and I'll be seeing you guys later...Ding

Hey you have some nice trucks.

Now, here I am driving a F-150 5.4. I am looking to get an oil burner. I understand why desiel is so much higher than gas, but I think that trend is going to fall down a cliff soon. I will keep my reasons for my prediction to myself for awhile. Lets just wait and see!

Love both of those trucks, but I would imagine the 150 would be a little easier to get around daily with.

Whenever you are ready, I sell the Recon LED tailgate light.
