He'd get good info at the Ford Barn (www.fordbarn.com) and at the Early Ford V8 Club's web site (www.efv8.org). I've got the "barn" bookmarked so I don't know about now, but there used to be two sites that called themselves Ford Barn. One's a parts seller but they'd refer you to the forum site if you get to them by mistake.

What year Fords?
There is nothing as broad AND as good as FTE for cars in one site.
There are alot of good narrow interest area sites.

It would likely be broken down to the years and/or model variation of certain vehicles. For instance, Fairlane Club of America. station wagons, Rancheros, sedans, coupes, all are lumped into the Fairlane size. I'm sure there's a falcon forum, lead sled forum, etc... Just gotta break it down and go from there. That said, I frequent 3 forums since they're not all lumped into the same moniker: FORD
