well first ting is you are in the wrong forum... but if you touched a ground to that it should not have did anything seeing that it is attached to the inner fender...
these trucks are grounded throughout the whole truck...

It was running fine before i took out the batt tray. what part is this ?

it is cranking normally . the WTS light is working but i dont hear the click when the light goes out . it was aroud 50 today but was sitting for night time fuse 17 under the hood or in the cab ?

thanks i will in in the AM it dark here now . is there any way to test the relay and or voltage regulator ?
