'95 PSD likes it's oil!

I have a 1995 PSD F350 that will drink over a gallon of oil in 2-3 days then go 5-7 days without using any!
I have tried over the last couple of days to find a thread with the same issues as my truck with some success.

My truck has the blue smoke at start-up and for a mile or so down the road.

It has the oil loss.

It has no mods at all.

So I think I figured out it might have something to do with the injector o-rings.
My question is............Is there anything else I should be looking at that might cause these issues?..............and if it is the o-rings could they be useing the oil on and off like that?

The truck has 218000
The glow plugs were replaced about six months ago
The previous owner replaced one injector couple years ago not sure when exactly or which one
This is my first diesel truck and lovin it untill I had to figure in an oil budget!

Look into your turbo, seals may have gone.

Could be that, Of you could have some really bad Injector O-rings. If your seeing alot of blue smoke that could be the culprit, although I don't know if that going to burn a gallon in 2-3 days but who knows. More people will chime in here soon.

Thanks for the input guys!

So do you think I should just have the turbo rebuilt (Ron's Turbo Serv.)
It is the original turbo and maybe time to get it an overhaul. Did some checks with the shaft and looks and feels like it might be able to be rebuilt.

IF YOU CAN, UNDO THE CLAMP ON the down pipe and tweak it back and look for an oily film, if its dry your good.

On the intake side you'll have some oil in it, don't be alarmed.
