Damn man. This project is just sick. I am keeping up with it as much as possible. I still don't think I will use an IRS on my 94 L buildup (just too much abuse planned for that truck and the ride will do me fine) but the CV front is the only way to go.
I am just more and more impressed with this truck everyday. carcrafter22 you are simply a man with a beautiful vision. keep us updated....I really want to see what this truck will do when all finished. 10's with 28-30 mpg, and perfect driving manors....nice.

I'm starting this on a 59 f100. I have read on a crown vic/panther forum that you can order custom springs for the front that will lower up to 2.5" with specific rates. Unfortunately, I didn't save the address, but a search for crown vic forums will probably net results. Good option for further lowering for those who do not want bags. Mabe they could do rears too for the IRS. I like your stance, but would like an additional 2 inches in the front with a good rake to the rear.

Thanks for the kind words.
Conrad could you post the spring info up if you see it again? I would love to get some stiffere springs for mine since I have the heavy diesel, I want to lower it another inch or two anyway and am not doing the bags right now.
Here is an update
I am going with the T56 6spd manual and got it installed today, I still have to setup the hydraulic clutch setup, I will be using an external slave and master from a jeep setup. The driveshaft will need to be shortened about 1.5" and a new crossmember will need to be made.
Without further adoo I give you more great work from Booty Fab Productions LMAO!
I found a pilot bushing at autozone that had the proper ID for the ford T56 and a slightly larger OD, we had to shave about .020 off to make it fit. Here at booty fab production we strive for the very best in booty fab LOL but hey it works great.
Here is a before shot of the aluminum chevy adapter with a 1983 10.5" chevy flywheel from a camaro, I had to use this small flywheel to fit inside the small ford flywheel. This will allow me to use the ford clutch and a chevy pressure plate for an easy bolt in setup.
Here is the same shot as before but with the new adapter made from 1/2" steel, we cut the chevy bolt pattern then mocked up a ford T5 bellhousing so we could use a dial indicator to find center, when we found center we just marked the holes and drilled the ford pattern. The 1/2" thick plate also located the depth of the flywheel perfectly so only 1 spacer (the bellhousing adapter) was needed for a fairly simple bolt in setup. This is also good since I havent had to modify the chevy adapter so when I go to the T56 magnum in the future with the chevy bellhousing it will be a simple bolt in and allow me to use a larger flywheel with a bigger clutch.
Heres the booty fab productions adapter HAHA
Here is the T56 6spd bolted to the truck waiting on a few more things to get it back on the road. I am very excited to get ripping through the gears.

So now you will have a 3.9L bi-turbo diesel, 6-speed, 4 wheel independent suspended, 32 mpg getting, 1967 F100? You sir are very VERY annoying....*L*
I meant cool, didn't I say cool?! Whoops.
Nice. You are finally making the one decision I thought you did wrong, right. It just seems wrong to not use a manual on this project.

I went to crownvic.net and most everyone there has used http://www.coilsprings.com/ for their custom coilsprings. Some have used eibach and ordered those for a maurader, but some feel those are too low for their application. but the crown vic sits lower than Our trucks do already. Hope that helps CC22.
