Man, I love that Burnt Orange color/interior combination. And the fact that yours has the optioned body stripes makes it even better! That plaid orange upholstery just screams Seventies and for an automaker that never really pushed the design envelope the way, say, Chrysler did, your truck is a real time capsule.

If you need an ash tray, I've got one already in primer that I'd sell you for $0 + shipping...

I love the General Lee color scheme...

Thanks for the critique. I love the General Lee color scheme. I have the original manufacturer's invoice and it says this color is Mexicali Red!

I hope to get the white stripes replaced next summer. May paint them on since these decals are nowhere to be found. I've been working on the mechanical needs first and a little interior work such as getting the dash lights/dome light working, new windshield and back window gaskets, etc.

I can't pass up that deal on a new ashtray. My buddy who owned the truck was a smoker and this ashtray is pretty rough shape inside. Let me know what shipping would be to Monroe, WA and how I can get the money to you.

I checked out your trucks. Nice collection started. Your F350 looks like an unusual find with that mileage.

Thanks again.

Nice looking trucks guys! EWHOLTZCLAW, where did the bottom trim come off of? I've never seen that kind of trim on our trucks before.

You know i didnt really notice that until you pointed it out lol. I should probably pay more attention to stuff like that lol. It must be something that the previous owner did. Good eye.

kandres, where do you get those brake light with the amber for the turn signals?

In my experience I find that having such brake light would be very useful, as most of the time other drivers don't notice my intentions immediately. I'm not really sure whether the turn signal stops blinking as I step on the brake.

Here's my '77 F100 Custom, 300/3spd column shift, no AC, no PS, no extras but a little radio.

Still wondering what to do with the wheels. I have the original hubcaps, but they were rattlecan'd just like those wheels. I haven't decided what the paint the wheels, or what to do with the hubcaps. Would like to go factory-style, but don't really know what that is just yet...white wheels, grey caps, or polished caps?

here is my truck 75 f150 460. got it a year ago and put a new edelbrock carb, air cleaner, and did a tune up. Runs like a top. As soon as I save enough moeny I will be pulling the 460 and cleaning it up, replacing all the gaskets and either rebuilding the heads and intake or buying new alminum ones, replacing the cam.
