oh, ya, i did get that, i must not have responded, my bad...but ya, that's no problem at all chris, u think u and i can drag it onto ur truck when we meet up? o, i got a come-a-long that would work too...
If nothing else come a lil early and we can run out to the farm and just snag it out with the loader, I'll give you some gas money, but we'll try dragging first.
Looks like the Press Room is out I guess they are closed on sundays now. But there are some other bars in town. Otherwise Weston has a nice bar or Malmo both are about 5 or 6 miles from Wahoo.
Dang it, when did they start closing on sundays? I thought they were always serving some sunday lunch or something? I haven't actually been to Weston's yet, but Weston is real easy to find, Malmo wouldn't be that hard either, I'm not sure if Weston is open or not either. Guess we'll have to wait till Nuke chimes in and see what he wants to do. Are Chez's and Maly's open Sunday either?
That sucks! The reason I wanted to stay in Wahoo, is that it is easy to find. Is there anywhere else in Wahoo to go? There are a couple of guys coming that are from up north and Lincoln, so if possible, I'd like to keep it in Wahoo. If worse comes to worse, we'll go with Weston or Malmo.
Chez's and Maly's are open but can get a little smokey and they don't serve food if that matters. Otherwise if no one minds a small town bar either of those would work.
Do they get busy on a sunday? Not that I'm expecting 50 of us to show up (although that would be nice!), I would like us to be able to take a couple of tables over.
Well Weston is just 7 miles west and much smaller then Wahoo and the road in is a striaght line to the bar. Malmo is about 6 miles northeast of Weston, only 4 miles off of highway 92, just as small as Weston, little smaller and I'm sure Keith (the owner) wouldn't mind us pulling table together at all. Guess we gotta make up our minds pretty quick so you can get another PM out.
Well, tell me chris, which would be better, in your opinion, since I don't have a clue!LOL! I think either would work fine. We should probably get a map put together to post up, for the guys from Omaha, Lincoln, and where ever else.
I would just have it in Wahoo instead of having everyone driving around trying to figure out where in the hell they are. Maly's Landing sounds good. All of the pullers at the Eagles Club, when finished, could just walk next door and have a few with the FTE group.
I would have to say Keiths bar in Malmo he has a back room and I'm sure he wouldn't mind at all. That and he serves food and icey cold beverages if anyone would need something. Just my 2 cents.
Hmmm, Malys or RK's? I personally think Malys would be easiest, but Malmo would be better.... Guess it depends if anybody wants to eat, if nothing else Wahoo always has BK, Runza, DQ, etc. if the people coming from further away need something. I've never been to Malys on a sunday afternoon, is there even anybody in there?
