Aftermarket AC Installation

I've been looking at a used F150 that is equipped very close to what I've been wanting. Only thing is it doesn't have AC. I think I will continue looking elsewhere but having an AC system installed has crossed my mind a time or two. Is having an aftermarket company install one something to avoid? Anyone here ever done this?

In the past, I have had the Mark IV aftermarket system in both my '67 International Travelall and '65 Chrysler Newport and those were the best a/c systems I have ever seen. None of the stock systems (even today's) can compare. The only problem was it used it's own blower, not the vent ducts. I do not even know if they still exist today but you may find one at a bone yard. You may want to check this company out:
